It is reported that the panel is developed based on Samsung Display's world's first commercial "polarized film display" technology, namely "OCF (on-cell film)" technology. With the same power consumption, this panel has an approximately 1.5x brightness improvement compared to the recently released flagship smartphone OLED panel. Samsung Display said that OCF technology not only improves outdoor visibility, but also plays a key role in reducing power consumption and innovative design. Following the folding screen mobile phone, this technology has also been expanded to devices such as straight-board smartphones and curly laptops, and is hailed as a valuable display technology.
